Haar kleren zijn gepaperpieced met de effen achterkanten van het DP.

Her clothes are paperpieced with the backs of the DP.

Ik had haar haar eerst veel lichter gemaakt, maar vond het een beetje wegvallen tegen het papier.
En ik heb haar gezicht nog eens gekleurd, er zit een rare lichte vlek.

I made her hair much lighter at first, but it faded against the paper.
I also colored her face again, it had a strange lighter spot.

Schetsen ~ Sketches

Als je net als ik graag schetsen gebruikt voor je LOs, moet je eens kijken op de blogs van Sarah en Allison.
Sarah gebruikt eigenlijk altijd gewone 10 bij 15 foto's, of kleiner.
Allison gebruikt wel vergrotingen voor haar LOs.

Ik heb dit weekend gepland staan om te werken aan mijn GDTkaarten voor Stampavie & More voor april en ook om gewoon lekker bezig te zijn met waar ik ook maar zin in heb.
Na een drukke week en heel veel hoesten (gelukig heb ik nu medicijnen), ben ik toe aan tijd voor mezelf!

If you love to use sketches for your LOs, you should take a look at the blogs of Sarah and Allison.
Sarah only uses 6 by 4 photos, or smaller.
Allison also uses enlargments.

I have planned to spent this weekend to make my GDTcards for Stampavie & More for April and also to do just what I feel like doing.
After a busy week and a lot of coughing (luckily I have a medicine for that now), I'm ready for some me-time!

Just because

Weer een kaartje zonder stempel. Ik moet zeggen dat ik dit toch ook wel heel leuk vind.
En weer een schets gebruikt van een blog waar ik altijd kom, waarvan ik altijd de schetsen opsla, maar waar ik nog nooit meegedaan heb.

Ik maak niet vaak kaarten zonder stempel, maar toen ik gisteren de nieuwe schets zag bij Stamping 411, wist ik dat ik daar een kaart mee wilde maken.
Het is trouwens de eerste keer dat ik met ze meespeel, maar ik bewaar hun schetsen al een tijdje.

Ik heb de kaart iets anders gemaakt dan de schets: het lint loopt niet over het stukje witte DP, want dat vond ik zonde van het glimmende deel van het papier en ik heb de bloem buiten de stukjes DP geplaatst. Zo vind ik het mooier.

I don't make cards without stamps often, but when I saw the new sketch at Stamping 411 yesterday, I knew I wanted to make a card with it.
It's the first time I play along with them, but I've been saving their sketches for a while now.

I tweeked the sketch a bit: the ribbon doesn't run over the piece of white DP, I thought that was a waiste of the shimmer in that paper and I put the flower rub-on not on, but next to the pieces of DP. I like it more this way.

Ik heb er maar even een lichtere opgezet. Urban Prairie is te donker als de zijkant niet goed past.
En van dit BasicGrey-papier word ik altijd heel vrolijk!

Grappig, de laatste tijd had ik een hele erge scrap-manie, maakte helemaal geen kaarten. Gisteren heb ik 2 (G)DT-kaarten gemaakt en nu wil ik ineens alleen maar kaarten maken.

Vanmiddag ga ik met mijn moeder en een nichtje haar verjaardag vieren: we hebben een high-tea. Heb er zin in!

Hi there!

Een tijdje terug vond ik op het www de digi-stempels van Karen Johnson.
Geweldig mooie, lieve, schattige stempels.
Ik heb er meteen een stel gekocht, maar ik kon ze door problemen met mijn printer helaas niet meteen gebruiken.

Op het blog vond ik een oproep voor DTleden voor de internationale challenge-blogs die er aan zaten te komen. Ook een Nederlandse.
Helaas ben ik geen Doodle Prinses geworden, maar ik ben wel gevraagd om voor twee weken GDTlid te zijn.

Vandaag start de eerste challenge op het Nederlandse blog: een hele leuke schets van Christa.
Kom je even langs om alle mooie kaarten te bekijken? En het zou natuurlijk geweldig zijn als je met de challenge meedoet!

A while ago I found the digi-stamps by Karen Johnson on the www.
Great beautiful, adorable, sweet stamps.
I immediatly bought a few, but couldn't use them right away because of problems with my printer.

I found a call on the blog for DTmembers for some up-coming international challenge-blogs. Also for a dutch blog.
Unfortunatly I didn't become a Doodle Princess, but I have been asked to be a GDT for two weeks.

Deze pagina's heb ik gemaakt met schets # 30 van Creanijn.
Ik kom vaak uit bij Vickey's schetsen als ik meerdere foto's op een LO wil verwerken.
Alleen heel jammer dat ze niet meer elke week een schets plaatst.

Ik heb maar heel weinig geborduurd op deze LO: alleen de lijnen onder mijn tekst is geborduurd.

I tend to turn to Vickey's sketches when I want to use multiple photos on a LO.
Too bad she doesn't post one each week anymore.

I did just a little bit of stitching on this LO: only the lines under my journaling is stitched.

Ik wilde een simpele titelpagina, dus ik heb een rand geborduurd en ik heb letterstickers en thickers toegevoegd.

Later zag ik de foto op de computer en toen vond ik 'm toch een beetje te simpel.
Ik heb toen een foto toegevoegd. Een foto, die voor mij staat voor Marokko.
Ik wist, al voor dat ik er naartoe ging, dat ik deze (of een vergelijkbare foto) zou maken.

When I saw the photo on the computer I found it a bit to simple.
So I added a photo. A photo that to me, represents Marocco.
I knew, even before I went there, that I was going to take this (or a similar) photo.

Sorry voor de kwaliteit van de foto's, die is niet echt geweldig.
