Soms ben ik zo weg van wat ik zelf gemaakt heb ;0))
Deze LO heeft het gewoon: de kleuren, de schets , de foto, de embellishments.
Gewoon, alles.

Ik vind mijn kleine broertje een geweldig mens en met deze LO wil ik dat laten weten.
Hij kan wel wat rust in zijn leven gebruiken en dat is dan ook mijn grootste wens voor hem!

wij DUS challenge # 1 & # 199

Er is een nieuw Nederlands scrap-challenge-blog (leuk scrabble-woord!): wij DUS.
Hun 1e challenge is 'tijd'.

Ik moest meteen aan deze foto van mijn moeder denken.
Ik vind deze zo ontzettend mooi!
Mijn vader heeft hem gemaakt in hun verlovingstijd.
Lief, he?

Ik heb een schets voor deze LO gebruikt, maar ik heb geen idee meer waar ik deze schets gezien heb.
Ik kan 'm ook nergens in mijn schetsen-map vinden.

Door deze schets en het kleur-gebruik (of geen-kleur gebruik) is het een heel andere LO geworden dan ik normaal maak.
Maar ik ben er wel heel tevreden over!

There's a new Dutch scrap-challenge-blog (nice scrabble word!): wij DUS.
Their 1st challenge is 'time'.

I immediatly thought of this photo of my mom.
I think it's so beautiful!
My dad made it when they were engaged.
Sweet, eh?

I used a sketch for this LO, but I don't remember where I found it.
And I can't find it anywhere in my sketches-folder.

By using this sketch and the use of color (or lack there-off) it became a totally different LO than I usually make.
I'm really pleased with the way it turned out!

Ik heb nog geen goede foto kunnen maken van deze LO, dus maar even een klein stukje om jullie interesse te wekken ;0))

Deze LO is heel anders dan ik normaal maak, maar ik vind 'm wel heel mooi geworden.

Het album is klaar!

Ik heb net de laatste 7 LOs afgerond en ik zit nu bijna op 200 LOs voor de challenge.

Geen idee of ik van te voren van plan was om de LOs simpel te houden.

Ik denk eigenlijk van niet, want ik had die dag van alles mee genomen.

Alle roze dingen die ik kon vinden zaten in mijn tas.

Uiteindelijk heb ik alleen gebruikt wat we bij de workshop kregen.

En de restjes?

Die gaan bij mijn kaarten-spullen.

I just completed the last 7 LOs and I'm almost at 200 LOs for the challenge.

No idea whether I set out to keep the LOs this simple.
I don't think I did, 'cause I took all kinds of stuff with me that day.
All the pink I could find was in my bag.

Eventually I only used the stuff that we got at the workshop.

And the left-overs?

I'll put them with my card-making stuff.

D = Dansen / Dance (#176)

Dansen is altijd een grote passie van mij geweest.
Als kind zat ik op klassiek ballet (veel lol, geen resultaat) en later ging ik heel graag dansen in een disco.

In 2001 heb ik aan een operette meegedaan en ik vond het heerlijk om te zingen, maar zeker ook om te dansen en om toneel te spelen.

Nu ga ik ook nog vaak dansend en zingend door mijn huis.
En als ik eens op een plek ben waar ik kan dansen, dan schroom ik echt niet en stap meteen de vloer op!

As a child I did classical ballet (lots of fun, no result) and later I loved to go to disco's.

In 2001 I played in an operetta and I loved the singing, but also the dancing and acting.

Nowadays I go through my house singing and dancing a lot.

Workshop albumtrack (#173 - 175)

Ergens in mei heb ik bij AkkeFietje de workshop Albumtrack gevolgd.
Weer een UFO die ergens hier in huis belandde.
Het werd echt tijd om daar eens mee aan de slag te gaan!

Het album is opgezet als een alfabet-album; er komen dus 26 LOs in.
Ik heb de 1e 3 nu af.
En zodra ik mijn tafel heb opgeruimd (jeetje, wat een rotzooi kan 1 creativeling maken!), ga ik verder met de rest.

(Na het scannen van de 1e LO heb ik iets met mijn scanner gedaan en nu werkt 'ie niet meer.

Eigenlijk vind ik de foto's nog mooier ook!)

Somewhere in may I went to AkkeFietje for the workshop Albumtrack.
Another UFO that ended up somewhere in my house.
It was about time I started working on it some more.

The album is an alphabet-album; so there will be 26 LOs.
I have now finished the 1st 3.
And as soon as I have cleaned my table (what a mess one creative person can make!), I'm starting on the rest.

(After scanning the 1st LO I did something to my scanner and now it doesn't work anymore.

To be honest, I like the photos more!)

Toch jammer dat ik door de week zo weinig tijd heb om aan de knutsel te gaan.
Dat werk, he. Dat zit steeds in de weg!

Ik heb, naast de vierkante enveloppen die ik gisteren liet zien, ook nog rechthoekige enveloppen gesneden.

Het totaal is gekomen op:

• 124 enveloppen van 15 bij 15 cm;
• 62 enveloppen van 13 bij 18 cm.

Ik heb 10 enveloppen voor 1 LO gerekend, dus ik kwam op 19 (afgerond naar boven).

Ik kan voorlopig weer heel veel kaarten versturen!

Besides the square enveloppes I showed yesterday, I also made some rectangles.

Total is:

• 124 enveloppes of 6 by 6";
• 62 enveloppes of 5 by 7".

I counted 10 enveloppes for 1 LO, so that's 19 (counted up).

I can sent a lot of cards now!

Ik wil de enveloppen ook mee laten tellen voor de challenge, maar ik weet nog niet zo goed voor hoeveel.
Misschien wel 4 voor een LO, net als de kaarten.

Ik heb de agenda mee laten tellen voor 1 LO voor de challenge.
Nog maar 99 te gaan.....

Gisteren ben ik met mijn vriendin Colinda (Hee, sis!) naar De Scrapheap geweest.
We gingen voor een cadeautje voor mijn Zus, maar er belandde veel (te veel!) in mijn mandje.
Vooral veel papier en bling.
En dan vooral papier om kaarten mee te maken.
Voor scrappen heb ik nog meer dan genoeg!

Yesterday me and my friend Colinda (Hey, sis!) went to De Scrapheap.
We were going there to get a birthdaypresent for my Sis, but a lot (to much!) ended up in my cart.
Especially paper and bling.
And mostly paper for cardmaking.
I have more than enough paper for scrapping!

Vakantie is niet goed voor je, uh mij..... / Vacations are not good for you, uhm me.....

2 weken vakantie en ik kan niet meer rekenen.
250 - 150 = (nog steeds) 100 en geen 50.....
Dat wordt wat maandag!

Ik heb dus nog 100 LOs te gaan voor ik er 250 af heb met materiaal uit mijn voorraad.
