HTK-2

Dit is een foto van de HTK van deze maand.
Ik vind dat bovenste blad met die snijtekeningen heel handig; je weet zo precies wat je van een blad nodig hebt en wat je ervan overhoudt.
Hopelijk doen ze er elke maand zo'n blad bij!

Charmed

Deze tv-serie ben ik pas gaan volgen toen 't al een hele tijd werd uitgezonden. (Voor de kenners: het seizoen nadat Prue omgekomen is.) Meteen verslaafd!

Ik heb later een hoop herhalingen gezien, maar ik had de 1e aflevering nog nooit gezien.

Nu wel!

Van mijn vriendin Henriette (Hoi!) heb ik de dvd's geleend en ik heb net aflevering 1 gezien.

Ik ga gauw terug, want ik vind het geweldig!

* I started following this show when it had aired already for quit some time. (For people who know the show: the season after Prue got killed.) Instant addiction!

Later I saw a lot of re-runs, but I had never seen episode 1.

Now I have!

I borrowed the dvd's from my friend Henriette and I just saw it.

I'm going back now, 'cause I really love it!

Beslissing.....

Over iets meer dan 2 maanden ga ik iets doen wat ik een paar jaar geleden al wilde doen. Vanwege de locatie heb ik het toen voorbij laten gaan, maar nu het heel ergens anders is, ga ik ervoor!
Lekker vaag nog voor jullie, maar ik laat 't weten wanneer ik 'het' gedaan heb!

Ter voorbereiding hierop heb ik besloten om eens serieus bezig te gaan met sporten en afvallen.
Ik ga niet lijnen, want uiteindelijk ben ik daar altijd dikker van geworden, maar ik ga mijn tussendoortjes drastisch verminderen (was ik al wel mee bezig) en ik heb voor volgende week zondag een proefles spinning afgesproken.
Dat lijkt me heel leuk en zondag is wel een handige dag, ik ben dan bijna altijd thuis.

* I'm going to do something that I wanted to do a few years back. It's taking place in a little more than 2 months. I didn't do it the last time because of the location, but now it's somewhere else, I'm doing it!
Bit blurry for you guys, but I'll let you know when I did 'it'!

In preparation for this I'm going to work out and start doing something about my wieght.
I'm not going on some kind of crash-diet, 'cause I've always gained weight eventually. I'm going to take a close watch of my snacks and I've arranged for a spinning-class next sunday.
This sounds like an exercise I will like and sunday is a good day for me, because I'm usually home on sunday.

Ehbo - Lotus

Vanavond was mijn laatste les EHBO voor het examen. Ik heb er wel vertrouwen in. De komende 2 weken moet ik de theorie nog wel goed doornemen, maar ik weet (bijna) zeker dat het goed gaat komen.

Ik heb vanavond laten weten dat ik wel interesse heb in de opleiding tot Lotus.
Een oom en tante van mij waren dat vroeger ook en ik vond hun verhalen altijd machtig interessant. En ik ben dol op toneelspelen! (Doe ik in mijn werk natuurlijk ook vaak genoeg.)

* Tonight was my last first aid lesson before my exam. I have faith in my succes. I'll have to dig into the theory of it all for the next 2 weeks, but I'm (almost) sure it will all work out fine.

I have let them know that I'm interested in the course to become a volunteer-victim.
An aunt and uncle of mine used to be volunteer-victims and I was always very intriged by their stories. And I love play-acting! (It's something I do a lot as a teacher.)

HTK

Dit staat voor 'Heksen-Talenten-Kit', de kit die AkkeFietje elke maand gaat uitbrengen.
Vandaag werd de 1e hier afgeleverd (nou ja hier, hier in de straat). Nadat ik ermee naar binnen was gekomen ben ik op de grond gaan zitten en heb ik de doos uitgepakt.
Mijn 1e indruk is positief, maar ik ben er nog niet echt ingedoken (ga ik hierna meteen doen).

Er zit papier (Paperloft en Bazzill), clips, lintjes, cats-eyes (zo'n stapeltje, hoe heet dat ook al weer?), chipboard (voor een project), een album en een map in. In die map kun je de uitleg van de technieken stoppen. Zo heb je straks een eigen techniek-naslagwerk.
Er zit in ieder geval genoeg in voor 4 projecten: een opbergmap, 2 dubbele LOs en voor 2 grote tags.

Verder allerlei werkbeschrijvingen en templates.
Ik ga nu gauw verder snuffelen!

* This stands for 'Heksen-Talenten-Kit', a monthly kit made by my LSS AkkeFietje.
Today the 1st kit was delivered here (well here, here in my street). When I came in with it, I sat on the floor and I opened the box.
My 1st impression is positive, but I have not dived into it yet (I'll do that next).

It contains paper (Paperloft and Bazzill), clips, ribbons, cats-eyes (those stacks they make now), chipboard (to use on a project), an album and a binder. The binder is meant for all the descriptions of the technics that come in each kit. So in a while you have your own refference-guide.
It has enough for 4 projects: a binder, 2 spreads and 2 big tags.

It also contains all kinds of descriptions of the projects and templates.
I'm going back to my kit now!

Scrap-kaart

Gisteren lag er bij AkkeFietje een card-kit op de toonbank. 't Voorbeeld zag er zo leuk uit, dat ik 'm maar snel in mijn mandje heb gestopt.
Alles is wel voorgestanst en voorgekauwd, maar ik vind 'm heel leuk!
Al het papier is van Sweetwater.
Ik hoop dat ze nog vaker van deze card-kits hebben.

* Yesterday at AkkeFietje I saw a card-kit on the counter. The example looked so good, so I put it quickly in my basket.
Everything is pre-cut and pre-thought-out, but I really like it!
All paper is from Sweetwater.
I hope they will have more of these card-kits.

Beestenboel

Gisteren was het scrapbookdag bij AkkeFietje. Alles stond in het teken van dieren: de snacks, de LOs die in de workshopsruimte hingen en natuurlijk alle projecten.
We hebben aan 3 projecten gewerkt en we hebben 1 project mee naar huis genomen.
Alle projecten waren fantastisch, weer eens anders-dan-anders. Geweldig hoe ze steeds nieuwe dingen weten te bedenken!

Het was heel erg gezellig met mijn Zus en Henriette, een belgische vriendin die ik heb leren kennen via een yahoo-groep en die ik nu geregeld zie bij AkkeFietje.

* There was a scrapbookday at my LSS yesterday. Everything we ate and made was about the theme 'Animals'.
We worked on 3 projects and took a 4th project home with us.
All the projects were fantastic, different from anything else we ever did. Amazing how they come up with new stuff everytime!

I had a great time with my Sister and Henriette, a belgian friend I got to know through a Yahoo-group and whom I regularly see at AkkeFietje.

Dit is het 1e project waar we aan gewerkt hebben. Een heel leuk doosje wat sluit met een magneetje.

* This is the 1st project we worked on. A cute little box with a magnetic closure.

In het doosje zit een kwartet-spel. Op de kaarten staan foto's die ik zelf gemaakt heb.
De teksten horen er niet helemaal bij, maar dat was bij het voorbeeld ook niet.

* Inside the box is a cardgame (the intention is to get 4 cards belonging to the same group by asking for them). On the cards are photos that I took myself.

De spelregels zitten er ook bij, voor het geval we die niet kennen.

* The rules of the game are inside the box also, just in case we don't know them.

Project 2 is een enkele LO met envelopjes die in een soort trappetje vastzitten.

Alleen maar een sneak-peek, want daar heb ik nog niet zo veel aan gedaan.

It's meant for the photos I took last wednesday, the photos with the controdictions.

Dit is de binnenkant van het album. Wanneer de foto's erin zitten zal ik laten zien hoe het in elkaar zit.

Het 4de project is een kit om een dubbele LO te maken over je 'Beestenboel' of 'Beestenbende'.

Ik heb vandaag door mijn huis gelopen om nog wat foto's te maken voor het laatste.....
Ik ben blij dat ze hier af en toe ook LOs als workshop geven, al die mini-abumpjes zijn geweldig, maar ik maak toch ook wel heel graag LOs.

* The 4th project is a kit to make a double LO about your animals or about your mess (in dutch you use the word 'animal' for both). I walked through my house today to make some photos for the last idea.....

I'm glad that now and again they give workshops were we make LOs, I love all those mini-albums, but I also like to make LOs.
