52Sketches - week 14 & # 221

Materials:

• Kraft cardstock: Bazzill
• pp: Scenic Route - Northshore

Journaling:
Co was al eens gaan zweefvliegen, dus toen een van de piloten vroeg of iemand in was voor wat stunts, greep hij die kans met beide handen aan.
Hij moest wel een parachute om; er zou iets fout kunnen gaan.....

Co went gliding once before, so when one of the pilots asked if someone was up for some stunts, he took this chance with both hands.
He had to wear a parachute; something could go wrong.....

In 2004 vroeg mijn broertje of ik mee wilde met zijn werk, ze gingen zweefvliegen.

Natuurlijk zei ik 'ja'!

Het was echt heel erg geweldig. Ik ben heel blij dat hij gevraagd heeft of ik mee ging.

Ik heb vaak veel moeite met 'white space' op mijn LOs, ik ga het vaak opvullen met 'spullen'.

Deze keer heb ik besloten om het gewoon zo te laten.

Op de schets van 52Sketches is het ook zo en eerlijk gezegd vind ik het best mooi.

Ik heb natuurlijk heel veel foto's gemaakt en ik heb ze allemaal laten afdrukken (het werkt voor mij het beste als ik mijn foto's gewoon in mijn handen heb) en ik heb er nu een paar uitgekozen die ik wil gaan scrappen.

Op heel wat foto's zie je alleen lucht en een heel klein zwart stipje.

In 2004 my brother asked me if I wanted to come to an event at his work, they were going gliding. (Or is it plain-gliding? Don't really know.)

Of course I said 'yes'!

It was ama!zing I'm really glad he asked me to come.

I always have trouble with white space on my LOs, I always try to fill it with 'stuff'.

This time I decided to leave it as is.

The sketch at 52Sketches was designed like this and to be honest, I like it.

I made a lot of photos, of course, and I had them all printed (it works best for me when I can actually hold my photos in my hands) and now I have chosen a few that are scrap-worthy.

On a lot of photos you see a lot of sky and a very small dot.

Got Sketch? - sketch # 78 & Scrapping Out Loud! - April 7th challenge

Ik sla al heel lang de schetsen van het Got Sketch? op.
Eindelijk heb ik er 1 gebruikt en wel schets # 78.
Een geweldige schets, die vast nog eens vaker tevoorschijn zal komen!

Deze LO telt ook voor de challenge van Scrapping Out Loud! van deze week.
Hun challenge is om 3 verschillende pp op je LO gebruiken.
Is 4 ook goed?

Het 'Goofy' meisje op de foto is de oudste dochter van mijn neefje uit de VS.
Elke keer als ik foto's van hen in mijn handen heb, dan verlang ik er naar om die kant op te gaan.....

Finally I have used 1. This LO was made with sketch # 78.
A great sketch and one that will appear more often!

This LO is also for this weeks challenge at Scrapping Out Loud!

The 'Goofy' girl in the photo is my cousins oldest daughter. They live in the US.
Everytime I see one of their photos, I long to go there....

Ik heb dit papier een tijdje terug gekocht met de bedoeling om er kaarten mee te gaan maken. Onvoorstelbaar dat dat papier ook voor scrappen te gebruiken is! ;0))

I bought these papers a while back thinking of using them for cards. Amazing that those papers work for scrapbooking to! ;0))

Pasen / Easter

Iedereen die mij kent, die weet dat het heel moeilijk voor mij is om stil te zitten.
En stil zijn.....dat past niet bij mij!

Toch heb ik vanmiddag 3 uur lang op een stoel gezeten, zonder dat ik een woord heb gezegd.
Ik ben nl met mijn moeder naar de kerk hier op de markt geweest om te gaan luisteren naar de Matteus Passion van J.S. Bach.
Ik heb dit prachtige stuk al een aantal keer eerder gehoord, voor het eerst in 2000.
Toen besloot ik zomaar ineens naar de kerk in Breda te rijden om te kijken of er nog kaartjes te krijgen waren.
Ik kocht het goedkoopste kaartje, want ik had echt geen idee of ik dit mooi zou vinden.
En mooi vind ik het! Zelfs terwijl ik 3 uur lang tegen een pilaar aan heb zitten kijken!

Vrijdag ga ik het paas-verhaal weer beluisteren, maar nu op een heel andere manier: in Mezz in Breda wordt voor de 2e keer de meezing-versie van de musical Jesus Christ Superstar gehouden.
Collega's van me die vorig jaar ook al zijn geweest, waren heel enthousiast.
Vroeger bij ons is die plaat grijs gedraaid, door mijn ouders, maar ook door mijn broertje en mij.

Ik heb nog een kaartje over, dus als je zin hebt om mee te gaan, laat 't me dan maar weten!

Everybody who knows me, knows it's near impossible for me to sit still.
And being quit.....that's just not me!

Still, this afternoon I sat in a chair for 3 hours without talking.
I went with my mom to the church here in the square to listen to the Matteus Passion by J.S. Bach.
I have heard these great piece a few times before, the 1st time in 2000.
I suddenly decided to drive to the church in Breda (the city where I work) to see if there still were tickets.
I bought the cheapest ticket, 'cause I had no idea if I would like it.
And I loved it! Even when I had to look at a pilar for 3 hours!

This friday I will listen to the story of Easter in a whole different way: in a club in Breda they will have the sing-a-long version of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
Some co-workers went there last year and they really liked it.
When I was little we wore out that album. My parents played it over and over again and so did my brother and me.

I have an extra ticket, so just let me know if you want to come!

Scrapbooking vs card-making & # 219 - 220

Bij mij gaat het echt op een neer.
Ik heb heel lang eigenlijk alleen kaarten gemaakt en nu heb ik daar helemaal geen zin meer in.
Ik wil alleen nog maar scrappen!

Weer een LO voor mijn USA2000-album.
Ik heb schets 20 gebruikt van Creanijn.

Dit was een hele indrukwekkende plek om rond te lopen.
Zus en ik hebben gekeken of onze achternaam ook op de muur staat, maar dat is niet zo.

Creating Keepsakes

Een tijdje terug heb ik een prijs gewonnen op het blog van Creating Keepsakes.
Vandaag kwam die prijs binnen.
Heerlijk, nieuwe spulletjes om mee te spelen!

K&Company: puffy summer-stickers
Little Yellow Bicycle: fabric stickers - (baby)girl

Er zat ook nog een vel titel-stickers van K&Company in, maar daar kan ik echt niks mee.
Ik heb ze aan mijn tante gegeven.

In 1e instantie had ik ook geen idee wat ik met al die ruimtewezens aan moet, maar al het papier is dubbelzijdig en de achterkant is neutraal, dus dat komt echt wel goed!

There were also title-stickers by K&Company in the package, but I don't have a clue what to do with them, so I gave them to my aunt.

At first I didn't know what to do with all those aliens either, but all the paper is doublesided and the back is more neutral, so I'll make that work!
