Vat vol tegenstrijdigheden

Zaterdag ga ik naar de scrapbookdag bij AkkeFietje en 1 van de opdrachten heeft te maken met tegenstellingen. Nou, die zijn genoeg te vinden in mijn huis!

't Is zo raar dat ik aan de ene kant dingen vreselijk organiseer: een plaats voor alles en voor alles een plaats. Maar aan de andere kant ben ik ook een enorme rommelkont.

't Kost me soms veel tijd om iets te vinden (ik ben al maanden een envelop met foto's kwijt), meestal kan ik dingen snel vinden. Op alle laatjes van mijn scrapkasten staat wat erin zit. Maar hoe het er dan soms inzit.....

Om moe van te worden!

* I'm going to spent the whole day saturday with all kinds of workshops at my LSS. 1 of the assignments has to do with contradictions. There are plenty of those to find in my house!

It's so strange that on the one hand I'm over-organized: a place for everything and everything in it's place. And on the other hand am I messy.

Sometimes it takes me so long to find stuff (there's an envelop with photos missing for months now), most of the times I find it without problems. All my Iris-carts are labeled. But how they look like on the inside.....

So frustrating!

't Leven is mooi!

Vanmiddag hebben we heerlijk genoten van het weer.
Zonnebril op, kopje thee in de hand en de kinderen heerlijk aan het voetballen en stoepkrijten op het plein.
Veel collega's hadden hetzelfde idee: de groepen 7 en 8 liepen ook buiten rond om te spelen en om te werken. En de kleuters natuurlijk ook, maar ja, die spelen de hele dag alleen maar! ;0)))

* This afternoon we enjoyed the good weather.
Sunglasses on, cup of tea in my hand and the kids playing soccer and making drawings with chalk.
A lot of co-workers had the same idea: the 5th and 6th grade were also outside to play and to work. And the kindergarten-groups of course, but hey, all they do all day is play! ;0)))

Workshop Clipboard

Dit is het voorlopige resultaat van de workshop die ik vorige week bij AkkeFietje gevolgd heb.

Op het onderste clipboard zitten chipboard-kaartjes die vastzitten met klittenband. Je zou er een maandkalender van kunnen maken, maar ik ken mezelf; de 1e maand zal het vast wel lukken om de kaartjes bij de goede dag te hangen, maar op een gegeven moment ga ik het vergeten.

Ik ga er een herinneringskalender van maken voor de maand mei van dit jaar. We hebben een aantal dingen gepland op school en ik heb ook nog 2 weken vakantie waarin ik van alles ga doen wat ik op de foto kan gaan zetten.

Op 't bovenste clipboard komen dan wat grotere foto's en journaling.

* This is the result so far of the workshop I did last week.

On the bottom clipboard are little chipboards that are attached with velcro. I could make a monthly calender of it, but knowing myzels, I would maybe 1 month change everything, but soon I'll forget to do it and it would be just hanging there.

So I decided to make a memory-clipboard about may of this year. We have some things planned with school that month and I have 2 weeks vacation which I'm going to fill with all kinds of things worthy of photos.

On the top clipboard there will be some bigger photos and some journaling.

CardArt

Vandaag mijn 1e Cardkit van CardArt binnen gekregen (die van februari ligt helaas op het verloren postkantoor...). Ben benieuwd wat ik hier allemaal mee kan gaan maken!

* Today I recieved my 1st cardkit from CardArt (the kit from february ended up in the lost post-office...). Can't wait to see what I'm going to create with all this!

EHBO

Nog 4 weken en nog 1 les en dan moet ik examen doen. Slik!
Ik heb het gevoel dat ik er nog helemaal niet klaar voor ben.....

Bijna weekend, nog een ochtendje werken en dan heerlijk een heel weekend thuis.
Ik heb natuurlijk heel veel gepland (de belastingen moeten gedaan worden en ik moet 2 LOs maken voor mijn kalender, want ik ben het vorige maand vergeten!), maar waarschijnlijk moet ik zondagavond constateren dat er niet veel van terecht gekomen is. Zoals zo vaak.....

* Just 4 more weeks and 1 more lesson and then I'll have tot ake my first aid-exam. Gulp!
I have the odd feeling I'm not quit ready yet.....

Almost weekend, just one more morning working and then a whole weekend at home.
I have a lot of stuff planned (need to do my taxes and need to make 2 LOs for my calender, çause I forgot to make one last month!), but probably I'll have to say sundaynight that I didn't do as much as I planned. Like so many times.....

Hoofdpijn

Ik baal hier zo vreselijk van: gisteren heb ik een heerlijke dag gehad met mijn vriendin Thea. We hebben bij AkkeFietje de workshop 'Chipboard op clipboard' gevolgd en gisteravond heb ik mijn clipboards zo ver afgemaakt dat er alleen nog maar foto's op hoeven.
Maar toen ik vanmorgen opstond, knalde mijn hoofd uit elkaar.
Weer een dag verpest door die vreselijke hoofdpijn! Ik baal hier zo van!
En dat door een vrachtwagenchauffeur die niet oplette in de file.....

* I hate this: yesterday I had a great day with my friend Thea. We went to AkkeFietje for the workshop 'Chipboard on clipboard' and last night I finished mine so it only needs photos.
But when I got up this morning, my head was pounding.
Another day ruined by these awfull headaches! I hate this!
All of this because a truckdriver didn't pay attention to the traffic-jam in front of him.....

Rub-ons

Vandaag was ik even bij Scrapland om voor mijn scrapsis Thea een liniaal te halen. (Hee sis, tot morgen! Ik heb echt zin in ons dagje workshoppen bij Akke-Fietje!)

Toen ik binnenkwam zag ik ze meteen hangen, deze geweldige swatchbooks van ArtWarehouse.

Helaas kun je de teksten niet lezen op de scan, maar 't zijn teksten in de cattegorie Endearments. Dus dingen als 'perfect', 'sweet' en 'love' komen er veel in voor.

In dit swatchbook staan allemaal bloemetjes. Helemaal te gek. Ik ben dol op bloemen in alle soorten en maten!

Ik zag net op de site van Scrapland dat ze ook nog 2 andere swatchbooks hebben die ik heb gemist. Hingen misschien achter de anderen. Ik ga meteen mailen om te vragen of ze die voor apart willen leggen!

* I went to Scrapland today to buy a ruler for my scrapsis Thea. (Hi, sis! I'm looking forward to our day of workshops at AkkeFietje tomorrow!)

As soon as I came in I saw them, these amazing swatchbooks by ArtWarehouse.

You can't read the text but this is a book full of endearments. So the words 'perfect', 'sweet'and 'love' are found there frequently.

This other swatchbook is filled with flowers. Awesome. I love flowers in all sizes and shapes!

On their website I saw they have 2 more of these swatchbooks. I dind't see them, maybe they were behind the others.

I'm immediatly e-mailing them to put them aside for me!
