Dit jaar staat dat op de Grote Markt in Breda.
Als zo ze dichtbij zitten, moet je daar toch echt even naar toe, toch?
Bij ons op school hebben de leerlingen van groep 8 ruim €1000,= opgehaald.
Ze hadden o.a. een rommelmarkt en veiling georganiseerd afgelopen woensdag.
Vrijdag zijn ze dat geld gaan brengen.
Via de live-stream heb ik met mijn groep gekeken naar 'onze' kinderen.
Trots dat ze waren!
En we zagen de broer van 1 van de meisjes uit mijn groep heel goed, dus dat was nog eens extra leuk.
Toen ik 's avonds naar het NOSjournaal van 6 uur keek, zag ik weer wat kinderen van onze school.
En ook bij het Jeugdjournaal waren ze te zien.
Ze werden zelfs geinterviewd.
Zo cool! ;0))
Ik had al gedoneerd via de kinderen, maar gisteren kon je op de Markt nog op allerlei manieren doneren.
We hebben een heerlijk bekertje glühwein op en we kochten een fles water van Brabant Water. Datzelfde water wat hier ook gewoon uit de kraan komt, maar zij verdubbelen het bedrag wat op deze manier opgehaald wordt.
Ik heb nog wat foto's gemaakt van de dj's, maar ik weet niet hoe ik die van mijn telefoon krijg.
Straks maar eens even de gebruiksaanwijzing er bij pakken.
En als echte scrapper, heb ik nog eens extra gedoneerd, zodat ik een foto kon krijgen van mezelf terwijl ik doneer.
Ik had alleen niet in de gaten dat de foto werd gemaakt op het moment dat je op de bel drukte, dus ik kijk Giel Beelen aan.
(Wat een broekie is dat! Is me op tv nooit opgevallen.)
Mijn moeder had het ook niet in de gaten, want zij staat verscholen in de boom!

Each year 3 dj's from the radio-station 3FM spent 6 days in a glass house.
While they are there they don't eat and drink only fruit-juices.
This way they try to raise money for a good cause.
This year the proceeds go to the Red Cross. Specifically for all the fugitives in the world.
The glass house is in Breda this year and that's about 15 minutes from where I live.
When they are so close you really have to go there, don't you?
The 6graders from my school donated more than €1000,=.
They organised a garage-sale and auction last wednesday.
On friday they went there to give them the money.
Me and my class watched 'our' kids via live-stream.
They were so proud!
We could see the brother of 1 of the girls from my class very well, so that made it even nicer.
When I watched the o'clock news that night I saw them again.
And they were even interviewed for the youth-news. (Love to watch that myself, even though you can't count me with the youth anymore! ☺) So cool! ;0))
I already donated via the kids, but yesterday at the square near the glass house, you could donate in several fun ways.
We had a real nice cup of hot spiced-wine and bought a bottle of water.
It's the same water that comes out of the tap here, but they match each euro spent this way.
I made some photos of the dj's, but I don't know how to get them of my phone.
Have to read the manual later.
And I wouldn't be a scrapbooker, if I didn't donate some extra money so I could get a photo of me standing there.
The only thing is that I didn't know they made the photo when you rang the bell, so I'm looking at one of the dj's.
My mom didn't notice that either, 'cause she's hidden in the Christmas-tree!
